Geotextiles are permeable fabrics which, when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate, filter, reinforce, protect, or drain. Typically made from polypropylene or polyester, geotextile fabrics come in three basic forms: woven, needle punched, or heat bonded.
Maccaferri’s Nonwoven geotextiles manufactured with virgin high tenacity polypropylene fibers assembled by a needle punched treatment only. The fabrics are CE marked according to EN 13249, 13250, 13251, 13252, 13253, 13254, 13255, 13256, 13257, 13265 for the following intended uses: F, D, R, F+D, F+S+D, F+R+S, F+S, R+S, F+R.
